Easy Blueberry Peach Jam
This Blueberry Peach Jam recipe is quick and easy! Cook some up for a special brunch and it will look like you spent an entire day in the kitchen!
2 cups blueberries
2 cups fresh peaches -- peeled chopped
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel
1 dash fresh nutmeg
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated citrus peel
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 cup water
In a medium saucepan, combine fruit and sugar, mashing fruit slightly. Cook slowly 5 minutes, then boil rapidly for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in grated peel.
Sprinkle gelatin over water; let stand 1 minute.
Add to fruit and stir over low heat for 5 minutes until geltin is dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate.
